That’s right! I just accepted a job as a misdemeanor probation officer in Lafayette. I am so excited. It could be all of those Law and Order and The Closer re-runs that I keep watching, but this seems so triple-great. I get to use my degree and work with actual people instead of a computer!
It’s an internal transfer so I already know most of the people I’ll be working with. The crowd in probation and parole is younger so maybe I’ll even make a few friends. Hip, hip, hooray.
